OK they aren't out and won't be out until june but will they run on the boards tthat are available now?
I know this is a tough question because they aren't out yet :)
Just trying to upgrade and planning a little for the future.

Have not made up my mind but its either the kt7a or the kk266 and 256 megs of muskin 222 memory and processor???? maybe 650-700 and oc till the palamino comes out or get a 1.? and just stick with it for a year.

waiting for the overclock boys to post on their statement of is the new 133 chips worth it on the main page...hey I got a week

On the homepage, on 21-2 (unlike a lot of [AMD] interviews...)there was an interview with one of the AMD spokesman. He told there would be no migration from socket-A untill the 64-bit hamer family of CPU's. So that's ok for now.

I've also heard some problems with voltage compatibility. See this article on the homepage:
2/20/01 - "Do I Have To Buy An Abit KT7A Because It's The Only One That Supports Voltages Palomino will use?"-- Nope. If that's what you're thinking (or if that's an issue for you), you need to read this. The IWills are OK; the Abits are OK, the Asuses, maybe not. Ed

Succes! Greatings, Rob
