Might have "fried" motherboard? Without going there though, you 1st might want to reset default jumper and "strip down" board to CPU, Vid Card, Memory. Don't plug in the Hard drive. See if it boots to BIOS (obviously not to OS!).
Hey!____Take out battery, and then put it back in, after shorting (jumping) the BIOS default jumper. Some Asus boards are the only one that have shorting points, so if you don't have one don't worry about it. That should get it. At least to BIOS. If it doesen't uh oh! If you get it cool, then you just procede step by step on putting it all back together. Good luck. Be patient don't panic, same thing has happened to me at least 10 times!
