I have a 40gb Western digital special edition with the 8mb cache.
So, I've ran the test two time now, and I got 228 and 247. Is it just me, or are these scores really low?
yeah thats way low man. My 60gb 7200 2mb cache maxtor scored 755. And I felt that was low. I havent run pcmark2k2 with my new upgrades yet. but yeah yours is low man. Make sure you have the right IDe drivers installed...
Many people have problems with nvidias IDE drivers, and having terrible performance. More people can give you better advice. But I use the Nvidia IDe's and so far everything seems fine.
Can you post the pcmark score?
Heres mine

Alright, well atleast I know it's way low now. I was thinking I would hit maybe 900 or something, then I see in the 200's, and I was like WTF?
Yeah I said WTF when I got 755... I was expecting like 1000. I need to test it with my new stuff... your results are making me wonder. So I need to make sure now that mine arent that bad. But my sandra scores seem fine.
