I am getting a t-bird 1.2 ghz. I have done my research and I know pretty much all I need to know to overclock this baby but, I am not familiar with the burn in process. Should I run the chip through stress tests after I have reached a o'c I like? If I do this will I be able to o'c higher if I want to? When I start the chip up should I go straight to o'c or should I run the chip and get it warmed up? Thanks.

First i would let it run @1200 for a while. im sure you can live with 1.2ghz for 2 days....Then raise fsb up a bit. run SETI for a while. Up it again and so on and so on until you get blue screens, lockups ect. then id raise vcore see if that helps. Burn in then either 1-go higher or 2-lower vcore if your satisfied with speed.
OR you could do what ive only heard of.....run @ default but raise vcore. run it like that then apparently its easier to oc. hey makes sence too me. i cant try that bcause mobo has no voltage adjustments. just take it slow. very slow.
Just to echo of OpenFriday said,
take it one step at a time and don't try to bite off more than you can chew. If you take it up one step and then let the computer do something for about 1 hour i.e. Defrag. and then if it's ok (ie TEMP, No Lockup etc then try the next step keeping an Eye on the Temp at all time)

That sounds good, you mentioned raising the fsb but should I raise or lower the multiplier. I think after I run at 1200 for a while I might lower the ratio to 9.0 and the fsb at 133.
