I have my Duron 650 rock stable at 910 (9 * 101 - TestCPU shows 914 - wonder why?) 1,85V at 48C under full load. Tried 9 * 102, boots up in Windows (98SE), everything seems OK but the HotCPUTest shows me Error in Matrix and the StabilityTest just freezes after 'bout 10 - 15 minutes of testing... Temp not higher than 48C... And I was hoping for the gig...
What could it be? And why did I have to raise the Vcore so much just for a 900?

Sounds like you've just got a poor chip - my duron is an old one, week 25 (August sometime I think), and would only do 918 at 1.94V (the max voltage on my A7V). Of course I wasn't going to accept that, so I switched to watercooling and did the volt mod to my mobo - now I've been running at the gig for nearly two months, no problems with 2.2V!
There is a volt mod for the KT7 - doing that is probably the only way to get much higher, and that'll need better cooling. Maybe not watercooling, but I'd be looking for temps around 40C before going above 2V vcore. Better case cooling and a better hsf like the Alpha PEP66 would probably do the trick.
You could always try a burnin if you haven't already - just run something that stresses the cpu constantly (like seti@home) for a few days, then try again and see if you can't get it any higher. It worked for my tbird, but not for my duron.
I can't remember a link to the volt mod at the moment, maybe somebody who knows one can tell you - but I'd strongly suggest you improve your cooling before trying it.
