hello, i want to buy artic silver thermal adhesive for my video card core/ram,
but i want to use it for my amd duron as well,

is "artic silver thermal adhesive" can be used for cpu's ? or it will ruin the cpu when i'll try to remove it?

i do not want to buy artic silver thermal adhesive for my video card and artic silver thermal grease for my duron! please help!

It'll just glue your hsf to the cpu, which is a Bad Thing! Just shell out the little extra for the thermal paste as well, it's not too much :-)

I know a guy who put some epoxy on his CPU.

He tried the freeze-crack method. To make a long story short, he yanked his whole core right off the processor (Attached to his heatsink).
