Because of all of the problems I encountered overclocking my 1GHz TBird, I thought my story might be of interest to some here: http://www.lukefisher.com/overclocking/ -- especially vis-a-vis some of the bizarro problems I encountered (uh, yes, some through stupidity/ignorance...).
I am bit curious whether any of those who have taken their 1GHz TBird's past 1.2GHz have been able to achieve genuine stability. As you may read on the above-linked page, I wasn't.
