config:

850 Tbird (cant determine if its green or blue, looks more like red to me,I angled it in every posible direction and still it never looks either really green or really blue)
running @ 1003 ( 118 clock, 8,5 multiplyer )
although its locked. I havent filled in the L1 bridges! i assume that the L1 lock only locks the multiplyer, or am i wrong?

2x128 Mb MOSEL VITELIC 7ns SDRAM

Abit KT7A 266Mhz FSB, etc..

the memory is currently running at cas3 118Mhz(host clock only), it can accordingly to tests on anandtech.com reach 146Mhz at cas2.

I cant get my Tbird to boot at >125 Mhz clock. why? is it to much with >1Ghz for an 850?

or does my CPU just not suport any higher FSB?´can i then continue to clock with the multiplier if i unlock it, or will i still not boot at such high speeds?

oh and is it true as i have heard that Abits bios function "plus FSB" also adds Mhz to the PCI bus?

HI,

at 118 Mhz your KT7A works like the KT7 ( KT133 ). That means you wouldn´t get the 1/4 divider on your mobo ( Means: your PCi Bus will work @ 1/3 = 40 Mhz, probably too high for some components . You´ll get the 1/4 divider beginning with 120 Mhz ). Try to unlock L1 bridges and set your FSB to 133mhz, multiplier 8.
1066@133 should be no problem with good cooling for a new T-Bird
