L1 bridges open??? closed???

I am new to overclocking, and i have no idea about the L1 bridges, infact i dont even no what they are...if this doesnt apply to slot a athlons then i guess i dont need to know...wel actually i would so if someone can tell me it would be helpful...

also should i try to take the caseing off my athlon slot a?

it's for the socketed althlons and durons.
if you wanna, go ahead.(opening the case, that is)
be VERY careful, and have fun. also, u should get a Tweaking Device...

woohoo...i got the case of my athlon and now its stay cooler and more stable @ 633 and overclocked ram...now im gonna mod a case that i have and see if i can do something..hehe....note my computer isnt even a case, its on table all over the place
