Im getting ready to upgrade my system. I currently have the swiftech MCX370-0A heat sink on my t-bird 1300. Will it be adequate enough to keep an athlon 2600+ cool?

I think you'll be fine. That heatsink is still heads and shoulders above what AMD sales in a boxed 2600+.

Yeah, you should be good. Swiftech lists them for T-Breds... I'm assuming 2600+ is a T-Bred core? (I'm an Intel kinda guy).
