You'll never know until you try. You should be able to make it, my 650 runs at 1040.

it is best not to think about a gig but rather how far you can take your system ... you can probably reach a gig but it may take more time and effort than you think ... i could only reach the gig mark with mine with the voltage mod on my kt7
