hey, i just finished building my new system!
tbird 1.2 gig with a super orb cooler
asus a7v133
128mb pc133 ram
asus geoforce 2 mx 7100

i cant really do anything with it at the moment coz i dont have a windows cd around to get it up and going properly :(

but does anyone have any idea what i should be able to overclock to based on the system specs i'v listed?

thanx,

Probably not very high with that superorb, but you never know. A few of the new 1.2gig chips seem to be ocing very well at or even below default voltage, so if you can get to 1350/1400 with out raising the voltage (at least by much) you shouldn't see much of an increase in temperature, and the orb might be alright. But generally speaking the orbs aren't much use for overclocking, and you'll probably find the chip running at about 50C if you don't have great case cooling. A better hsf like the globalwin FOP38 or alpha PEP66T would probably keep you closer to 40C, and that would probably get you an extra few MHz from the cpu. But like I said, try it without raising the voltage and see how far you get - good luck :)
