As always, use the lowest multiplier/highest fsb combo you can, while keeping a high MHz rating for the cpu. For instance, instead of 10x100 (1000) try 9.5x105 (998) or 9.5x106 (1007). If your board can manage it (probably not as it's a KT133 board) you could go for 9x111 (999) - but I doubt you'll get the fsb that high. I imagine to get the cpu to a gig you'll probably have to go to near the max voltage of 1.85V allowed by the mobo, so make sure you have good cooling. Just keep experimenting till you find something that works for you - it's difficult to give a precise answer cos different chips and systems will be able to run at different multiplier/fsb/voltage combos, so you'll really have to find out for yourself.

Which is in your opinion the highest safe fsb?

Difficult to say really - as long as you take it slowly (a MHz or two at a time) you should see system instability way before you fry anything with a higher fsb speed. I'd be quite happy running at 110MHz or higher, but my system won't go above 107. Bear in mind that there's quite a few guys running 145MHz+ on the KT133a boards and Intel system (from a standard fsb of 133). Your board probably won't go much above 110MHz, and I'd consider that safe.

Just remember to raise it a step at a time and you should be fine ;D

Keep your elitist rhetoric to the use-net. Sorry, but there is no place for it here!
