This is my setup:
AMD Athlon Thunderbird 1000Mhz (Chrome Orb cooler)
MSI K7T Pro2-A Motherboard
Now I know you can overclock my CPU from my bios.
Does anybody have the same setup as I do, and what overclocking speeds work best for you??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I don't think u can overclock very much with ur current cooling.
Mayby u can clock it a little, but first we need to know what temps u are getting at the moment, so what are ur temps?

When it has been idle for 15 minutes it runs at 43'C/109'F, my CPU fan is running at 5160rpm, and the Vcore is 1.80, is there anything else you would need to know??
That's a tad high for just idling. What about your case temp? Regardless of the HSF, you can't get better core temps than the air temp inside you case and more often there is a differential of 10-20 degrees C. A good HSF will hold the differential to 10C at idle and 15C or so under load. If your case temp is already at 35C, that good HSF will only hold the core temp to 45-50C. See the relationship?

I dunno, it just seems kinda weird to have to speed up a 1 GHz processor!
