Ive been an amder so long ive forgot.

Im considering gettin an 800fsb intel cpu, but im worried that the mobo might limit my ocing. With my cooling, seems like a 2.4 should hit around 3.8 wich would work out to 320 raw fsb. Can they do that?

My temps are around 0c, so I think i can get a cpu to do that...

but your tellin me it wont be easy for the northbridge?

the northbridge can get hot...but I've seen people just replace the NB HS and fan with a new one and get great temps.

btw, all the new IC7 have a new NB HS&F, so temps should be better.

Check this guy out. He's hit 300fsb out of the box with all stock voltages and stock air cooling. I think the key is using the right memory. I've read too many posts where ppl are hitting fsb wall no matter 5:4 or 3:2 and I truly believe most of them are due to memory.
