I just bought a iwill KK266, and a new 1.2 Thunderbird, L cache's are
tied together but when I set the mother board up it will run at
133mhz, but no matter what mutliplier I use the cpu run the same
speed, if i rasie the Bus higher the CPU goes higher.

It appears to be locked at 8.5 somehow,

133 FSB = 1130mhz
150 FSB = 1275mhz
155 FSB = 1318mhz

No matter what multiplier I use, I get the above results.

The board will only post 1200mhz if I have the multiplier in cmos set to "auto" and 100mhz FSB. If I set the multiplier "manually" at 12 x 100 I get 850mhz!!!!!!!!

Motherboard is a KK266 ver 1.2

Please help, I would like to 9 @ 155

Thanks in advance

Looks like you have an 1130/266 model - not a 1200/200, which should be great for O/C. Make absolutely sure thart the L1 bridges are connected. There are threads here that will show you what it should look like.

OTOH your 8.5 multiplier is pretty good, now if you can bring up the FSB to 155 or higher you are getting pretty close to the max anyhow.

Good luck

How can I tell if it is a 266 model???

Also, if it is a 266/1130, shouldn't the Iwill KK266 still allow me to change the multiplier?

All the pins are on the bottom of the chip AND the L1's are all visible and connected, I have two CPU's doing this now.

Help, :-(
Thanks
