Program to measure heat?

i know ppl can tell how hot there system is but how is there a program or something if there is what is it and what link

The program is called mbm5. You can get it from this website...http://mbm.livewiredev.com/ . You have to set it up a bit different depending on your motherboard, so you might need some help with that. Just ask.

You should be able to find documentation on the site, though. Another one is SpeedFan: http://www.voodoofiles.com/3598. Just remember that your temps may be up to 10C off, meaning that your CPU could actually be running hotter than what the programs are telling you (motherboard temp sensor inaccuracy). A hardware temp monitor would be the most accurate way to monitor your temps.

The most accurate way of measuring a CPU's temperature is by the temp diode that most modern CPUs have. Anything else is on a secondary heat path which makes them unreliable.

Which is on the the XPs, right? I am getting almost 10°C below the actual temps on MBM5 using the LM-90 remote, which supposedly reads from the on-die diode.

Did you calibrate it? My temp readings always read higher on the Internal Diode. Setting up MBM will sometimes require you to calibrate your readings not just to match the right sensor.
