Hey guys,

I have overclocked the 2.4 to 3.0 by 1000FSB with 5:4 divider. My ram is GeIL 1G pc3200. PAT is disabled. I thought everything was running well until I run Kazaa and some other application. Then things began to crash. Prime would give me errors.

I have tried to increase the cpu voltage from 1.525 to 1.625 and prime still crashes after about 100 tries. I have a Zalman 7000 cu and Abit IS7 MB and the cpu temp is 42c idle, 56c load.

I don't think its the temp b/c its reasonablely cool plus the Abit IS7 over reports the cpu temp.

any suggestions to fix this problem?

thanks

Oh yeah, almost forgot, the Ram timings are default which is 2.5, 4, 4, 7.

thanks

i donno if the is7 has game accelerator option in bios like the 1c7, but if it does (bios 1.4 or later for 1c7) then try disabling last 2 options. also is your mem voltage like 2.8ish? i found with mem 2.8 and last disabled i went from 3.0 stable to 3.3 stable with no problems.

hope this helps

Thanx man. I disabled the last 2 options in GAT and now it is ok. I think i'm going to leave my sys at 3g even thought I can go higher. I'm satisfied with 600oc.

again thanks

Yea it is really nice. It cools extremely well and its dead silent. The case fan is louder then the zalman. I definitely recommend it and you can find it for $40.
