I think it comes with 5/8" ID ... you can cut off part of the existing barb and "solder" a barb to it ... what I did with my ford HC was sweat a copper elbow with a copper tube already sweated to it.
What stryder said is true, all you have to do is heat the tubing in some boiling water and stretch it over the fitting. After it cools and molds to the fitting it is almost impossible to get off.
