the P4P800 AGP Question

I see in the specs from Asus that the AGP slot is an 8x(1.5v only). While it may sound dumb I'll ask. Will My ATI 8500(4x AGP) work with this board??

I thought it would, but while looking the specs other ASUS boards speciofied 4x as well. . .This board did not. I kind of figured 8x AGP is backward compatible but wanted to be sure. . THNKX !!!

Yes it will work. I have tryed a GF2 Mx400 on this board and it works OK.
