if ya guyz can help me plzzzzzz in need of help.
I just recently purchase 2 72 watt peltier and a brand new power supply 300 watt-Atx. Can u plzz tell me how to connect the two psu together as 1, and can you tell me how change the voltages for the peltiers and how do you know how much volts are they runnin. thanks..............

Combining PSU is very experimental and there is no basic knowledge about it. Some real geeks with a background in electrics have done some project, but not much chance to find a taylored out how-to (however somewhere I've read about it on the homepage). For more info on how to install peltiers and suplying the right current, I advice you to post in Cooling. You might have noticed the topic PELTIERS on the homepage, some interesting stories out there. Succes with the good stuff!

This is only a guess, but I'd expect you have to block them with rectifiers to prevent back feeding. By that, I mean a rectifier, simply considered, allows DC current to flow only in one direction. Take the +5V output of each supply. If you place a rectifier in each output, then connect them together, their outputs can sum their current, but not subtract. The return leads are not blocked. One drawback to this process is that by adding a rectifier to voltage path, you incur a voltage drop equal to approximately .7 V for common silicon rectifiers or, approximately .35 V for a Schotky Barrier rectifier. So, your 5 volts becomes 4.3 or 4.65 respectively. If you can adjust the output voltage on the supply, you can increase it to compensate. The same applies to the other voltage outputs. Ideally, you would want to use identical model power supplies to help reduce chances of impedance mismatch. That's a whole other can of worms and we won't go there right now.

I use to have a diagram of how to do it, it only requires like 3 wires i think. I use to have 2 300 wat psu together till i baught my 431watt
