If my pump fails what is best way to ensure my system will shut down without damage. is it in the bios or can I find a good program to do it. I will most likely be running my cooling on either a ABIT IC7-G or Asus P4C800-E DELUXE Motherboard, just so you will know what bios I may be using.

The winbond hardware monitoring software that comes with the abit ic7-g will shut it down for you at whatever temps you set.

the temp monitor that comes with all asus boards does a good job. It comes to the front at a warning temp, and then shuts down at a shutdown temp.

Ive forgotten to turn my pump on before and it saved my proc!
