Hi Guys,

Anyone had any luck running 2 SATA drives in Raid 0 and pushing the PCI/AGP bus speeds up?

I remember an article on the front page of overclockers.com that mentioned problems with the IC7G, SATA drives and running the PCI/AGP bus out of spec causing the loss of data, etc.

Anyone had any luck?

Any advise appreciated.

I tried runing the PCI/AGP just slightly out of spec and it did'nt see the sata raid array. But, as soon as I changed it back to spec it recognized the sata raid and booted fine.

and with the pci, running it faster only causes recognition problems in RAID and makes instability with pci cards and HDD corruption ;) the closer to 33MHz your pci is the better

I've been informed that to get over 300FSB on my IC7G that I need to set the PCI bus to 73+

Was worried about destorying my Raid before starting to play.

ps. Cheers for the welcome :D
