could i use a thin sheet of copper and a thick sheet of plexi/lexan/etc.. or should i use more copper? just wonderin if all the copper was really necessary

yeah .. at least i'm juggling the thought ... cash flow isn't high enuf to really seriously consider it currently ... found a copper coupler at lowes and thought if i could cut it in half and flatten it it could be a reasonable base add a thickness of poly w/ a flow pattern cut and viola water block
