my Abit IC7 and my 3com

I recently installed my Abit IC7 board. first, I took out all pci cards and it works and I install drivers ect... Well, I put in my 3com network card and it won't boot. I havn't flashed my bios. Do I need to? Has anyone experianced this before?

nvm, I reset my cmos via shorting out the battery and it works. But should I still update my bios?

Yup , it would be a good idea to upgrade the bios as the earlier versions were somewhat problematic below version 1.3 .
