This afternoon I sat down with my 1ghz TBird and a conductive pen and I attempted to unlock it. I used the sharpened edge of a tooth pick and a magnifying glass to do this. After I did it I took an exacto knife and made sure that the bridges were seperate. When I plugged it back in to the computer it ran fan at the default 10*100 but when I took the multiplier down to 7.5 the computer would not boot up at all and it wouldn't boot at any other multiplier than 10. I don't know what went wrong. I tried to use the minimum amount of ink needed to connect each bridge. Do I need to put alot of the conductive ink on each bridge? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a Lot!
