I have just bought a KT7A Raid board and a 1200 Athlon T-bird processor. I have 256mb pc 133 Muskins rev 2 ram. A Creative Annilator 2 GTS video card. I have plenty of proper cooling.

What my questions are is how to make this system rock in the cmos. When should I turn on and turn off, what are some good settings to go by. This machine is only for gaming as the other will be for the BS stuff. Can some one please take some time and give me a hand please.
Also what does all the stuff on a video card mean anyways, like Enable side band addressing, Enable fast writes, Monitor timing method , and in open GL what are some good settings there to use.

Thanks in advance
Viper

tweaking your system may or may not be the same as the "other guys" system youll need to experiment trying as many different combanations as you can think of

reading your MB manual over and over untill you understand every thing would be the best place to start after that take a look at this site and the links

first thing AFTER reading your manual about 10 times...is to read and print out all the beginners guides on the homepage...then just stick around here and ask as many questions you can possible think of.

and dont worry about asking dumb questions cause almost everyone here has seen the same questions many times...everyone is willing to help.
