Pitchford was quick to point out that the graphics have been overhauled to take advantage of DirectX 9.0 features. Specifically, the game's shaders have all been rewritten to conform to pixel shader 2.0 standards. Zooming in close to a grunt, we noted specular-mapping and bump-mapping effects on the grunt's gold-colored armor, giving it a glistening sheen over a very granular surface. Yay,I really loved Halo on the XBOX,It was a helluva lot of fun.Im going to buy it for the PC when it comes out,Heck I'll probably buy 2 copies.Release Date:09/17/2003 is what that website at the top of this thread says,I can't Wait :).

What exactly is the correct release date? IGN says Sep 2, Gamestop says the 15th and EB says the 23rd.

I don't really think that any release date is official,Unless its from the creator(s) of the game themselves,and even then its sometimes pushed back.

I'll join an OC clan for this :). The more I read up on it, the more I want it. Then i see the release date and im like CRAP!!! i have to wAIT for the game/...NNOOOO lol. Anyways l00ks g00d, doesnt seem like thay've made any major proting msitakes from what I jsut read. W00t GG. Cant wait.
