I don't know if there is a difference, but I built a system for my dad with a blue core t-bird. It is a 750@1100 with air cooling. Ducting fresh, outside the case, air directly on the heat sink dropped processor temps 20 degrees F and made it stable. T-bird 750@1100 on abit KT7 with 256M mushkin cas2 ram at 133

I think AMD started making all of there cores blue just so people wouldn't get pissed off if they didn't get a "blue core" 900MHz chip...
The simple fact is: if your chip was made in Desdren(with copper interconnects), then it will potentially be faster...there's really no way to tell now that all these blue core 700's and so-on are showing up now...
It's a safe bet, though, that if you have a 1.1, 1.13, or a 1.2GHz chip, it was manufactured in Germany...the 1GHz and 950MHz chips can go either way--and both plants have the potential to make sound 1.2GHz chips--it's just that Desdren's plant has much higher odds of hitting the mark

i just got a 1.1 that has 1999 stamped on it, does that mean i dont have copper interconnects...cuz they didnt start in dresden till 6/200 right?
