Don't turn that computer on untill you get a new heatsink or find a problem. I refuse to overclock my processor untill I get a new heatsink and thats because mine was running at 45C under load while overclocked. The last thing you want to do is fry a $230 processor.

Ok, I think it's time for you to go to bed. The buttons for post reply and new thread are right beside each other. Hmm I hope this gets placed as a reply and not a new thread.:)

45C under load while overclocked is about normal for air cooling. Long as the system is nice and stable you are fine so don't stress over it. Now as a "feel better" precaution you can go into your bios and set it to auto shutdown the system once the CPU temp hits 60C.
