New Duron!!!

Hi this is my first message so be nice!!!
Yeah I bought an AMD duron 800MHz just over a week ago and a MSI KT7pro 2A maiboard for cool I lumped for a chunky coolmaster heatsink and fan.

My problem is the 2 days ago the PC crashed and now wont boot, I clocked it to 848MHz which was stable, as far as I thought anyhow.
The D-LED system on the mainboard reports that it's the processor.

I don't think the overclock is at fault as the average temp was only 350C - 370C.

So if anyone can..........HELP!

Do you know if the CPU fan stopped working?

Assuming you can not get to the bios to reduce the speed and/or voltage and/or fsb settings to less demanding:

Move the bios memory backup battery jumper to discharge (see manual) and that will revert your settings to factory defaults.

You will have to restore your preferences in the bios. As you get near the previous settings, move slowly and see if you can isolate the particular change that results in the failure.
