I think upgrading my vid card may not be the best idea right now. I think upgrading my Mobo and Ram would give me the best bang for the buck

Im going to sell

kingston pc2700 512 meg, should get around $60.00
MSI KTV3 Mobo should get around $50.00

Im going to then buy

Asus a7n8x mobo 400mhz $90.00
2 sticks of kingston 256meg dual DDR PC3200 -$95.00

I think that should boost my performance some. As of right now my ram mobo is the bottle neck of my system. Plus i will then be able to use the 8x feature for the 5200 ultra.

With this upgrade, will only cost me 70 bucks out of pocket, and i should notice a nice increase in performance all around. Maybe even boosted vid card performance.

Video card upgrade will probably come around christmas time.

He was basically stating what he thought he would do, and posted it so we could tell him our opinion(s).

As long as you realize that there is virtually no difference between 4xAGP and 8x AGP, you won't be dissapointed.

Frankly, w/ your system, I think you'd see a ;arger pefrformance difference with a better vid card. The upgrade's in your RAM and mobo will be quite minor in comparison to an R9700 or FX5900....
