Hi,
I have just got my new Gigabyte 9700 Pro card, got it for a really good price (well for the UK is was good!). However although this card is the GV-R9700 PRO, it differs in appearance to the images on the gigabyte website and all the reviews I've read, also the packaging has no mention of 'Maya II', which only appears on the driver/utility CD. The heatsink that the card uses is not the reference heatsink found on all the other 9700 Pro cards, it is in fact the same heatsink being used on the newer Gigabyte 9800 Pro cards, and I've also noticed that the memory modules are exactly the same as the memory being used on the 9800 Pro cards?
The card works great, but I wanted to know why it's different, maybe it's an older or newer revision???
Thanks,
G
