Hello. I am building my first computer at the moment, and I am debating on which motherboard to get. Should I get the Abit IC7 or IS7? Tom's says that their performance is almost identical because of the addition of PAT to some I865 mobos. The IS7 has more features and costs 30 less. I will be overclocking as well. What do you guys think?
Edit: Should I hold out for Max3?
Thanks
:)
I think the features are the same. What features does the IS7 have that the IC7 don't? Besides, this should be in the motherboard section, this is the CPU section.

Actually the only additional feature I could find for IS7 is megabit lan.
The IC7-G has the Gigabit LAN and two more S-ATA channels compared to the IC7. It does look like the IS7 has built-in LAN, but it's not the Gigabit LAN. If you're on a tight budget, go with the IS7.

If you are lucky, you might get an IS7 with gigabit lan. If you really need g-bit lan though dont depend on this. and i dont think its full 100% PAT, the detection program usually says its partial (7)
