Instead of restarting windows every time to go to check on the temperature (in the BIOS) is there a program that will tell me the temperature?
I asked this before along with some other questions and got a truly lack luster response....one i think....gee thanks guys.

Most boards will come with some kind of temperature and fan monitoring device you install into Windows.
What make and model is your board?
Try searching the CD that came with it (if you have one) and search the manufacturers site.
Failing that I suggest you purchase a seperate temperature sensor with an LCD display that you just attach to the front of your case, such as the CompuNurse See below Picture.
Hope this helps.

I use my mainboard utility.
SiSoft Sandra gives a temp 10 degrees higher than the BIOS and mainboard utility - so don't trust that one!
Scary =^E
