His videocard reviews suck! Josh N. was the man and that magazine has suffered since his departure. Most of the people on this site are more informed then him and I thank all of you for the good reading that helps me make logical hardware choices.

Is that the Will Power article guy or is he from a gaming magazine?

If its the Will Power guy I totally agree. He is a total NVidiot.

MaxPC has decent articles, and I don't really look at who writes 'em, but in the last year or two it hasn't been as good as "Classical" MaxPC, but...

Yes, im sure they have to be on the way out, they used to be useful, but in the UK they cost like £6 per issue now! seems a little much to me, i mean sometimes they have useful stuff on the cds, or the occasional intersting article, but generally its nothing you cant look up on the internet. Its a shame they are so expensive, otherwise i would still buy them quite regularly, as some of the columns can be pretty good, plus it gets me away from staring at this damn monitor :p

Im sure most people who signed up got the $5 for a year deal. Thats almost dirt cheap. Also, CPU magazine is, IMO, the best magazine for enthusiats. Much of the info inside CPU cant be found on the internet as in-depth as it is in CPU. You could, but it would be much harder. It comes down to preference. Many people would want something they can read anywhere - and not just in the computer room.

But i agree 100%, Max PC is near junk. Barely worth the $5 i payed for it. Almost 100% of its content can easily be found online (unlike CPU magazine) and it doesnt even have content!

Max PC sucks... The issue with the 9800P/5900U came out with the 5900U being faster in every test.

I agree with the CPU statement. CPU/Computer Power user has articles from Kyle Bennet, Anand Lal Shimpi, Alex St. Cross (Direct X 1 Guy) that are not able to be found online.

It's not like I trust Kyle Bennet...

I actually like the mag. I only pay $1 an issue which is very good. Some stuff they write is lame but its fun to read.. also its a good way to not be on a PC but still read about them, lol. PCs all the time for me, rofl.

Read the Hardocp editorial. i think Kyle meant it to say:

nVidiot stopped giving me kickbacks. Im going to trash their cards until they start giving me kickbacks again or I am going to start recommending to people the card that is actually the winner for $100 less, the 9800 Pro!
