would that work better than fans or is it not worth it?

Im pretty sure both will preform about the same. They will give you decent temps....probably somewhere around that of an slk-800 with a ~ 30cfm fan.

I 2nd that. I'd steer away from budget watercooling kits. Most likely if they aren't made of inferior hardware then it performs on par with air if not worse. If you're on a 100~ budget go for a DIY setup.
