greetings all,
Shark here, got a few questions:
1. Is the 266 FSB worth the extra 18$? I'm looking at a T-bird 1.2 at either 200 or 266. Will be using a ABIT kt7a-raid board, and 384 MB crucial pc133 ram, 45GB IBM 75GXP
2. Any problems reported with the kt7a raids?
3. what are the all around best heatsinks(remember the abit board)
4. What paste is best? Arctic Silver? Arctic Silver 2?
5. Are all 1.2 T-birds already unlocked? I saw a post that said that, and im confused

You'll get a lot of different opinions...that's for sure. With every board, there are people that have problems and others that don't. In the end, it's your money and you should make your own choices :)

A.S. I and A.S. II perform ~1C of each other...There are good deals on A.S. I which makes it a bargain gram for gram.

I have read that the 45MB drives don't care for overclocking, but I haven't tested one so I can't validate that.

I've read (but have not tested to verify) that there are problems overclocking the 45MB drives. Yoiu may want to get 2 smaller IBM drives if you're planning to set up in RAID 0.

what about the tbirds being already unlocked?
I've found a few posts with people saying that they successfully oc'ed the 45 GB's... and i wont use the raid, just need the extra ata100 slots :-)
