what for is a deffoger kit?

It's a kit you use to fix those wores on your back window if they break. The stuff you use to fix it is conductive, so all you have to do is get a pin, and spread a little on your L1's and you are good to go. :-)

I used a defoger repair kit on my athalon and it works great. Just some pointers I had no luck with a pin. The pin just makes a thin line and that wasn't conductive enough. You need a little thickness with this stuff to make it work. The best thing I found as an aplicator is a toothpick with the point sharpened. The wood is a little rough on the sides and it holds more liquid so you can get a nice dot on each of the bridges. Also use a glass (I used a 14x) to do your work it makes life much easier.

where'd you guys get them? Canadian Tire (stupid of me most of you dont live in Canada) what i mean is like "Hardware Store"? and how much?

Look at an auto parts store, I had to look at quite a few and ask a few people if they carried them, finally after 3 weeks of looking for one I got it. It cost me about 8 bucks and is worth every penny. I don't know what that would be in Canada though my guess would be like 10-15 bucks. I don't know how that whole money conversion thing goes. :-) LOL... If you don't find one right away, don't give up, they are very worth the effort. Good luck :-)

LOLOL, I do love my smokes. But I never smoke around the comp(too many fans in it). As far as the amount of liquid goes the bottle I got has 1.4 ml in it. I think after using it to unlock I still have like 1.39999999 ml left. LOLOL.

Thanks fiz, 1.4mL should be TONS to do many duron's/Tbirds.
My dad used to smoke near the comp then for days afterwords the stale smoke would waft towards me thanks to the PS fan. thanks gain fiz i'll begin my hunt tomorrow.

What does your defogger kit compound look like? I had one about a year ago that was just a clear liquid, but the only ones I can find now are rust colored to match the defogger wire color. Anyone tried this type? I'm going to give it a shot anyway, but I thought I would ask.

Thats the kind I am using. It works fine, but i had to go over it a couple of times. :-)
