Radeon 8500LE

I know that this card is fully DirectX 8.1 complient, but is it fully DirectX 9 complient? Is it partially? These features are instruction sets in the actual chip therefore they cannot be upgraded, correct?

nat I'm not sure if it's DX9 compatible but I ran dx9 before my format and got 9400 in 3dmark2001...at the, i was running my built by ati 8500LE 128mb.

no it isnt DX9 complient
You can install DX9 but I dont think it makes any difference at least as far as performance goes.
