I need to insulate a DTWW from chilled water. I do not have one handy as it is coming in tomorrow, but I would like to get started with trying to find a box to house some foam in. Anyone have any suggestions on the size of the box, LxWxH in order to secure it to an AMD motherboard? A Alpha Pal 8045 fits in there and thats an 80mm fan, so it has plenty of room. I would still rather try to keep the size down though, but its not a really big issue. Please Help.

Ive been thinking of doing something like that for myself. Right now im using neoprene/silicone and its almost impossible to remove. I have an awful overclocker of a cpu right now, but its not worth the 8+ hours of work to get it re insulated.

I would just mesure out a box about 1/2 wide on either side and spray in some injectafoam. Then you will need some kinda seal on the bottom with the mobo. Maybe you could make a seal of neoprene on the mobo and on the bottom of the foam.

I think that if the two peices were held togeather well, you could make it nice and airtight. You would probably need to mod the mounting system to make it truly removable.
