I thought i heard sumone mentioning about blue and green amd chips??
I think that it depends on where they are mnanufatured. I think the blue chips have Aluminium connections, and green chips have copper connections. The copper ones are made in Dresden, Germany; the blue ones in Austin, Texas. I'm bnot totally sure, but one type is supposedly more O/C able
It used to be that cpus with the blue core were manufactured exclusively in Dresden and had copper interconnects (better), while green cores were made in Austin and had aluminum interconnects. However, these days the color of the core doesn't appear to be a reliable indicator of whether the Tbird has copper or aluminum interconnects.

I have read that the blue and green chips are built in different materials. One is built in copper and the other in aluminium. The alu's one is made in Austin (USA) and the other in Dresden (Germany). The copper's one is less hot and fastest. If i were you, i would try to buy a german CPU.
