I can not make up my mind on which memory to get. I've looked for Gold 3700 in dual 512s, but can't find any. I'm gonna use it in rig1 in my sig. I had to RMA the XMS 3500 because it did'nt work out for me. All I can find is the Corsair 4K. What do you think would work best in this board?
I just placed an order for Twinmos PC3700 using 4.3ns chips. They're out of stock and should have some in by late next week so I'll probably get them in 2 weeks.

I don't think the OCZ Gold PC-4000 is out yet, but it should be out soon and provide a little bit better performance than the XMS4000. It's rated at 2.5-4-4-7 while the XMS is rated at 3-4-4-8

be sure to check the voltage that the rated speeds are supposed to operate at. sometimes they're outrageous like 3.0 volts!
OCZ 4000 ram has a overvolt protect, and the 4000 aint out yet, soon i hope

I've been leaning towards the OCZ. I figure if I can't find their 3700 in 512s than the 4K will be equally as hard to find when they start shipping it. I sent OCZ an email and I got a generic response stating that it will be shipped in a week to select vendors. I'll be spending around $400 so I want to get it right. I'd be content with 2x512s of their 3700. I'll wait a bit, than look some more.
check svc, they have the 3700 gold in as of yesterday.

Both OCZ and Corsair used 865/875 as test platforms. Those chipsets are one of the main reasons why we have PC4000 RAM at the moment.

Yeah, the 3700 Gold is only in 256MB sticks. Our PC4000 Gold will be in 512MB modules and 256MB modules.
What speed are the chips on the PC4000 modules?
