Only getting 970 max want 1gig but isn't stable using default voltage.
Need some bios and chip tricks to this thing!!

1st off, why not lower the multiplyer and raise the FSB?
2nd-Why not up the voltage a touch.
1st id lower multiplyer and raise FSB, then if need be up the Vcore, this is what i think, youve got pc133 and youve only got FSB @102 so why not try higher?

Tried won't boot @106 fsb

So you tried lowering multipler and raising fsb? or just raised fsb? that multiplyer is kinda high is all. What are your temps like, have you played with voltage yet?

Have dropped multiplier and raised fsb.
tried 1.8v,ran but bios booting was all screwed up.
the max I can get it is 970 either way.
I know this chip should hit 1gig easy.

Well mr.pc im running out of idea's. only 1 last thing pops into my mind, what did you unlock the Tbrird with?

that chip should be getting 1050+. Especially with that mobo.

Well sir, i just checked the database and it looks like for 1gig 10x100fsb is pretty popular. 1st id burn in at 1.8 for the next day or 2 seeing as for 10x100 most needed between 1.75-1.85 volts. So my advice is burn in @1.8, then in a day or two just try 10x100. What cooler and thermal interface material are you using btw?

air 1.2 ghz hsf combo
will try burn in test

It a long boring process i know but if it works it'll be worth it. What are you using to burn in? What thermal interface material are you using? What are your temps with voltage @1.8?

SiSoft Sandra Pro Burn in
temp is @101degress fah.
thermal grease for thermal compound
1.8v got me to 988mhz
boots and runs @1ghz but windoze crashes.

988 now we're in buisness, the mobo can go up to 1.85 am i correct? your temps look fine @101F (im 53C sorry dont know in F) wait just checked thats 127F, if you really want the Gig your last hope is to try 1.85 (im pretty sure your mobo goes up to that) Look @the data base some needed 1.75,1.8,1.85 its different with every chip. So if you burn in again @1.85 and lets say you hit the Gig, then burn in (yes again) and see if you cant drop the voltage to 1.8 with a stable system. but 1st things 1st, are you willing to try 1.85? if so you very well might hit the Gig, odd though id think that chip could do much more.

will try anything for max mhz
1ghz crashes windoze 10x100
but 1007 9.5x106 boots but crashes after 15min
1.8v now
106 is max fsb it will boot @.
very weird.

Use 10x100, voltage to the max. This should be the magic potion, but remeber that burning in is always GOOD. Run seti for a week or so, it works good as it's a mild burn in and let's you also use your comp too. It worked for me, at the homepage you can click: Join Seti group here. You can download seti here: http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu go to download.

Succes, hope to see you at the gig soon, you'll make it, believe me!
