Ok I picked out my primary vidio card but as far as a secondary v-card (pci slot) who makes a really good v-card that is a pci slot type?????:) .Note the primary card will be a ati aiw 9800 pro changing the primary card is not an option just a pci slot card.

Wow 1 star LoL
The fastest PCI card out is a 128mb ATI 9000 PRO Nvidias best would be a PCI version of the MX440.

I thought ATI had a 9100 out there in PCI flavor -- essentially an 8500 with a bit of a clock boost if I recall correctly. That would be my vote!
yeah I saw a 9100 128mb PCI in the local Frys ad for $79. Not to bad.

actually the 9100 is slower than the 8500. it's even slower than the le.(maybe not the crucial le)

I stand corrected, didn't even know that until I went googling for benchmarks after reading your comment. Wow, ATI was pretty stupid about both the 9000, 9100 and 9200 cards huh? :(
Guess I'll hafta get an 8500 for my brother's machine rather than the 9100 I was planning on.

No no no. The 9100 IS the 8500LE. The 9000 and 9200 however are slower than the 8500LE.
As for PCI card I saw a Visiontek PCI 9100 at Best Buy, probably the best you can get in pci format.

Edit
Nevermind, I see... PCI 8500's are for Mac's, there don't seem to be any for PC x86 architecture. I wonder if a PCI 8500 meant for a mac would actually work in a PC? Isn't the electrical specification the same? Maybe it's a BIOS thing...

Can your 9800 not run two displays? Or do you want a third monitor?

I believe that Mac 8500s have different bios and that is it. However why would one worry about that when you can get a pci 9100 which is the same as an 8500LE for 80$ at Best Buy.

9800 pro can run 2 monitors but the all in wonder 9800 pro does not, I could give up built in tv tuner but I like having it .
