Well with a unlimited budget I would have to say an IBM Blue Gene/L (should be out in 2005) with a direct neronet interface (should be out in 2XXX) for my brain, 10 T1 lines to fill up a little of my bandwidth, a nice lazy boy recliner a nurse 24/7, and a limitless supply of IV food to keep me hooked up 24/7

You know, I'm thinking of what I'd like to write here, and I find that actual PC components are not at the top of the list.
Things like "Evaporative cooling tower with a TEC" or "Phase change setup" are at the top of my list.
I don't really care about having $2000 worth of hardware, I care about having fun with the o/c and going "WHOOOT!" when I pull coup and get a kickass o/c out of a cheap chip. ;)

XP 9000+ w/512 Mb L2
500Gb DDR 64,000 RAM Drive
2500+ barton
8RDA3+
a crapload of l-shaped 9500 nps
a couple of 9800s 256mb in case no 9500s softmod
2 gigs DDR400 RAM
a plain cheesy but strong aluminum case
8 250 GB hard drives in a RAID array (hey u kno i got 2 terabytes storage space :D)
2 or 3 of These (http://www.bwspeakers.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/products.models/label/Model%20Nautilus) :attn:
a 30" LCD monitor with a 90hz refresh rate (MY LCD PWNZ0RZ J00R CR7)
and umm.... lots of mod supplies, fans, cathodes, power tools, an SLK-900U, rheobuses, and a home-made watercooling setup
oh also lots of SK-6s to make heatsinks for my mosfets, nb, sb, lan chip, audio chip, and so
and a fridge under my desk full of orange soda and microwave pizza (and a microwave on my desk too)
as you can see, i get satisfaction on doing things myself, i mean, even if oyu got loads of cash why to buy a 3200+ when you can buy a 2500+ and OC it farther?
btw UberBlue, you avatar scares me, i did that when i was a child, only difference was that i remember it in colors and i used a fork

Or how about a computer with infinity MHz with infinity FSB with infinity gigs of RAM and infinity terabytes of HD space and a Radeon infinity? This of course would have to be setup with Infinity.Infinity (much more than 6.2!) speakers and a mouse with infinity buttons and a keyboard with infinity keys. All on an infinity inch monitor that is 1/Infinity inch wide (much thinner than LCD! :D )
Bring it guys :D :D :D

Ok, this is more an entire system of computers rather than one...
The entire thing would be inside a computer desk, but have 4 pullout modules with three machines insde.
#1 Gamin rig
Dual custom phase change systems
3.2ghz p4 @ over 4ghz
over 1ghz fsb
1024 corsair pc 4000
radeon 246 mb 9800 (phase changed, ram watercooled)
4 sata raptors on raid 0
4 250gig drives on raid 1
#2. Folding/linux
Dual Opteron 800class
On dual phase change
2 tb scsi raid storage
all the goodies...
#3 hardcore grafix on windows
Again, dual opterons on phase change
Fire gl x1 246meg again on phase change with wced ram
4gigs ram
#4 Silent multi media pc
250gig hdd
passive water cooling
radeon 9800 AIW
All of this would be controlled by a kvm switch 21in lcds (as secondary) built into the desk and a flip up 60in plasma display as the primary
total cost 50k+
:D

Oi, not again.
Personal computer lvl here, but still high price.
OCed P4 (sorted for highest OC)
Prommy or other phase change (probablyt a custome so i can cool everything)
Abit IC-7 (Sorted for highest OC)
1G Sorted for highest OC memory (probably Corsair XMS or Mushink (sp?)
Gefore Fx 5900 256mb
2 PCI Video cards for tripple monitors
3 high res Flat CTR's, 1 plasma tv for games
2 arrays of 4 SATA Rators in 0,1 (you can do that with current SATA RAID controllers right?)
1 4 drive array of WD 250Gb in 0,1
Or same thing with Sorted AMD chips for best OC/preformance
Abit NF7-S rev. (again sorted)
