Fixed:
* Update BPL version to 3.09 for increasing memory stability
* Not much else from the previous 3609 release

Note: some owners may expereince a drop in memory bandwidth performance, albeit the difference may be within margin of error.

Get it from here :

8RDA+

8RDA non +

Anyone flashed to this new BIOS and what have been your results? I am planning an upgrade from a 1700 to a Barton 2500 and am considering updating the BIOS. Thanks:beer:

Uh oh.. The last time I flashed my bios, the chip tried to commit suicide with a shotgun in the bathtub.

I've had some trouble with my Corsair 3200 C2 ram, might this help me get a higher fsb? (Actually, I still think it's a bad stick. Rev 1.2, not 1.1 or 2.2... pretty odd)
BTW, what does BPL stand for?

I get a slight memory bandwidth increase of 50 with this BIOS, compared to 3609 BIOS, using Sandra memory benchmark.

No other discernable change, either good or bad.

Using 2 X 256 XMS PC3200C2.
