same way you overclock a duron 850 Jimbo. Tell your budy to read the beginers guides and i bet he wont have any questions after that.
btw-try to post cpu, mobo, ram ext. so its easier to explain. If he reads those beginers guide to overclocking he should be a-o-k.

He is right mate try to read the beginners guide we all did that for the first time.
Didn't we,correct me if I'm wrong.
U also have to spend some time in the forum to acquire some knowledge on overclocking.

Thats how i started Gerti, i had to spend 2 months in the forums and now i feel i am notonly ready to build my 1st computer but to overclock the he|| outta it. Just spend like 1/2 a day and you'll learn more than you need to Jim. I spend about 5-6hrs here yesterday and the product of all that time spent will be
1-Ramsinks made of old heatsink (c/o batboy)
2-Old fan on radeon (c/o i dont know just everyone does it.)
3-Rounding IDE cables (c/o newbie doo's url he gave on a post)
4-Overclocking my Radeon 32mb OEM DDR like a MOTHER!!!
all this was either learned in pretty much a day except the overclocking vid cards, i learned that baout 1 month ago. Good luck all.

I like that idea of rounding the IDE cables yourself cos it lowers your case temp 2-3c I have heard.
The best site I have found is
www.virtualhideout.net (http://)

Its those big flat cables in your case hooked up to hdd cdrom ect, by rounding them you improve airflow in your case.

my dad just went out and bought me some electrical tape and those plastic ties. LET THE ROUNDING BEGIN!!. Tongiht i'll do them.
Also got a cable splittler (so i can watch tv and go on oc forums at same time), fine sand paper to lap my heatsinks, Rubbing alchohol and an x-acto knife. This week is gonna be great.
