i bought me 512 mb pc 2700. i paid 50 bucks for it on ebay with free s/h. it did not say a brand on ebay. when i bought and recieved it i was unable to take the heatsinks off to see what type of chips are on it or brand. the guy i bought it from said he believed it to be samsung or GeIL ram.the guy said he wasnt sure. anyway its got copper heatsinks on it.the ram does 190fsb or better. i think my mobo is crapping out any higher than 190fsb, my ram timings are 2.5-2-2cl. i havent tried any other timings.is there any type of program out there to see what type of ram u have running in your computer i have never heard of any so thats why i,m asking, or does any one know how to take the copper heatsinks off, the clips seem to be very hard to take off, i have never stuck any on so i dont know how to take them off . any help would be appreciated.
