Well I´m a n00b and I want to know which is the best water block:eek: lol
No, seriously, I am a n00b but I did used the search button:p and already know that Cascade and WW are the best rated here.
Now I want to know this:Did anyone ever used a WW with a peltier before? How did it go?
Here in Brasil we got about 30C to 40C in a VERY hot summer  so I’m thinking about buying a WW, add a peltier to it and throw the rad and the res into a mini fridge.
I also want to use 2 Koolance A-05 Gold-1 in my GPU and 1 in my NB and the heatsink from the NB will be placed in the SB with a small fan to it.I´ll use anything I can get at a small price for the GPU and NB 'cause I really don't care about it-I'll only spend big money in the best for the CPU, period!
Any comments about it?Cathar…?
Thanks to anyone who can help.

No No No! The WW and the Cascade are NOT meant to be used with pelts!!!! You want a big beefy block for a pelt, one with more water/surface area such as the Swiftech MCW5000 or a Silverprop block. If I were TEC cooling I would use the Swiftech.

Well I did thought about using a Swiftech but I read an article that says the pelt would get more impressive results with better cooling on the hot side, hence the best block-DTWW 'cause Cascade would be really hard to get :D

BTW here's the pelt I just bought:

I bought it 'cause it was cheap and because of its voltage-hope it works but if it doesn't, I'll use on the GPU or whatever :p

I dunno about that one, my math might be a bit rusty, but that looks to be a 30mm x 30mm pelt. IIRC, depending upon model, those max out somewhere around the 50w~65w range at 12v. Might be a bit small for cpu cooling, but I could be wrong ;)

Update: Seems I might be wrong, after all. The unit looks like it might be one of these, could be a 30w pelt:

Well I guess that when you buy cheap stuff you get crappy results:(
But that's ok I'll use it in the GPU or in the NB:)
Or perhaps I'll play with it a bit and then just throw it away:p
Unless I do get some really low temps of course:D
